Metro Nashville needed a backup site for E-911 and Emergency Management operations to support the Emergency Communications Center. Metro purchased an existing 10,000-SF facility and Puckett Engineering designed and oversaw upgrades to the facility’s critical infrastructure. Upgrades included modifications to lighting, power, and fire alarm systems; new UPS system for critical equipment; new emergency generator system; mitigation of power system harmonics; addition of new CCTV and DVR system for security; and new A/C system for computer room.
