Tucker-Guthrie (Harlan) Airport Fuel Farm

The airport was in need of replacing aged fuel tanks and dispensers for Jet-A and Avgas with modern fuel storage and dispensing systems. Puckett Engineering provided electrical design for replacing existing systems with 12,000-gallon Jet-A and Avgas fuel tanks with dispensing equipment and a fueling terminal for credit card payments.  This work included providing an electrical panel for supplying the fuel systems, addressing wiring requirements for NEC Class I hazardous locations, extensive grounding for lightning and explosion protection, and surge protection for power, control, and signal circuits. Construction admin services were also provided.
