Puckett Engineering » Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge Airport Lighting

Following the airport’s relocation to a new terminal building, the airport needed to relocate the airfield lighting Constant Current Regulators (CCRs) and radio controller for their 5,500 foot runway and taxiway to a new electrical vault building adjacent to the new terminal building. Taxiway lighting and signage were also needed for the apron at the terminal building. Puckett Engineering specified a new electrical vault building and provided design for relocating the CCRs and radio controller to the vault building. In addition, an airfield lighting control panel was provided for the terminal building. The design also included lightning protection and grounding for the vault building and lightning/surge protection for the wiring. Construction administration services were also provided. PDF Case Study.
