Metro Nashville’s Emergency Communications Center needed redesigned E-911 call-taker and dispatcher workstations to improve emergency response. Puckett Engineering provided electrical infrastructure design to replace 18 call-taker stations, 12 dispatch stations, and 8 training call-taker/dispatch stations. Infrastructure included circuits from the central UPS systems for the computer, telephone, and radio equipment and circuits from the emergency (generator) power system for the workstation personal comfort systems and task lighting. Puckett Engineering also mitigated power system harmonics and provided construction administration. PDF Case Study.
